Caterpillar – the New Conveyor Lift

A new covered conveyor lift on Snowflake. Just for newbies, the 450ft convey called “Caterpillar” will take new skiers up the Snowflake run. The clear covering will protect skiers from the elements, and give them a safe and secure ride up the run. The conveyor style lift will be easy on and easy off.

As part of the improvements to Tumbellina annd Snowflake, the midway unloading station will be removed. Making it less confusing for beginner skiers. Tumbellina will still bring skiers to the top of the normal beginner runs – Freeway, Little Mo and Rookie.

New for 2012 – The Monarch Ski Area Parking Lot is Paved!

That’s right, no more slogging through the snow and mud. The whole parking lot is paved, making it easier to plow and more efficient to park.
