Monarch Ski and Snowboard Area Trail Map PDF Print E-mail

Monarch is a small mountain, with lots of great terrain. It is all contained in one large basin that has a number of small ridges breaking it up and making for great skiing. It is reasonable to explore the whole mountain in one day, but large enough to entertain any skier or snowboarder for a week.

A good general plan for intermediate skiers is to start on the right (north) side of the area, with the Breeze Way lift. Lot of easy blue terrain to warm up on, early sun and a great view of the rest of the resort. No Green runs here.

Then work your way Over to Panorama for good intermediate and expert terrain.

Then ride Garfield or Pioneer for shorter runs in the late afternoon (when you are tired), with a nice variety of Green, Blue and Black runs.
