Some tips on how to wear a ski lift ticket.
Put the ticket in a really visible place, so the lift op does not have to look around for it, hiding it slows you down, and annoys the people behind you.
Don’t attach the ticket to your main jacket zipper pull. If you do, it will slap you in the face all day when you zip up your coat.
Don’t attach it to your pocket zipper pulls either. When you take the ‘way whipper’, it may pull off, along with the zipper pull. Lose your pass and wreck your zipper, bad news all the way around.
If you have any kind of ski jacket it will have a special little fabric tab with metal ring in the pocket or on the waistband of the jacket. This is designed to attach a lift ticket to. It should be long enough to securely attach the ticket and zip the pocket closed (with the ticket outside).
Finally, the ticket must be on a major item of clothing, not a glove or ski pole. If you put it on your hat, the ski area figures you are going to give this ticket/hat to someone else when you are done for the day.
